There are now some new scholarship opportunities available, curtesy of Sell My Timeshare NOW.  They are offering a new e-book.  Its title is ‘College Scholarship Opportunities in the Hospitality Industry’. It is jam packed  with helpful hints for students and parents alike.

The hospitality and lodging industries are growing very fast. These people have chosen to step up their commitment.  They are underwriting college scholarships or endowments. Some of the main players in this are American Hotel & Lodging Education Foundation, Sell My Time Share NOW, The Marriott Scholars Program and the Caribbean Hotel Foundation.

Should you be applying through the American Hotel & Lodging Foundation you will no-longer need to submit tax forms. They will now accept both official and unofficial transcripts.  Applicants will now also be accepted for more than one scholarship. It is hoped that this will speed things up.

Sell My Timeshare NOW has something special as well. Any of its owners who wish to donate their timeshare to the university, will be supporting an endowment fund. This fund will enable cash strapped students to attend Southern New Hampshire University. These students can be graduate or undergraduate and can participate in either an online or on-campus course.

Those students that are going to study culinary arts, hospitality management, hotel management and food & beverage service. The Marriot Foundation in association with the United Negro College Fund and the Hispanic College Fund will be launching a Marriot Scholars Program. This is $9,000 annually and is renewable for those that are eligible.

Only those students that are Caribbean nationals can apply to the Caribbean Hotel Foundation for a scholarship. They must also demonstrate financial need.
