Kevin Aucello, a Washington DC based real estate executive has been tapped by Marriot to be the vice president of development for the region of Hawaii.

Aucello, who has more than 25 years of providing a full range of advisory services with equity, debt and leasehold real estate in Hawaii, Guam and Micronesia, was with CB Richard Ellis in the Honolulu office as pricipal He was also a director of CBRE’s international practice.

Marriot International has 11 hotel and timeshare properties in Hawaii and as the newly created position of VP for Development in Hawaii, Aucello will be responsible for the strategic development of the Marriot International brand of hotels and resorts in Hawaii and will be based in Honolulu.
