Forty firefighters of the Fairfield Glade Fire Department responded after receiving a call at 1:14 a.m. Tuesday while Crossville and Cumberland County fire departments provided mutual aid and assisted in fighting the blaze that destroyed some timeshare property at Oak Knoll.

Investigators are still trying to find out the cause of the fire and are also trying to figure out if there is a connection between this fire, which destroyed six units in the timeshare and damaged two others, with a Saturday fire at Oak Knoll that damaged one unit. Three agents with the bomb and arson unit of the state Fire Marshal's office were on the scene, along with arson investigators from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department. However, the cause is still a mystery at press time
