September 9, 2007 is the scheduled date for the 2nd Annual Middle East Leisure Real Estate Symposium. The Symposium, put together by both Group RCI and NorthCourseSM Leisure Real Estate Solutions, will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Dubai. This setting will offer a chance to discuss the changes in the real estate industry as they effect the Gulf Region.
The partners behind the Symposium believe it is critical for developers to understand the place timeshares will have as more tourism flows into the Gulf Region. This surge is expected to lead to revenues of $1.2 billion for the timeshare and fractional ownership industry within the next 12 years.
The Managing Director of NorthCourse's Dubai division, Claude Attala, believes that the Symposium is well timed for the market. Attala commented, "Identifying future trends and creating business models to maximize the return on investment is central to underpinning the market for real estate in the Middle East. Both large-scale investors and private landlords need to know what options they have moving forward. Our event represents a master class where delegates will have access to some of the best brains in the business."
The list of "best brains" includes a commencement address by Ken May, the CEO and chairman of Group RCI. He will set the stage for the day's meeting by discussing the expectations of potential clients, the new markets opening up to the industry, and how shared ownership will fit into the whole market explosion.
The Symposium will draw its information from the most recent independent research. "We aim to separate fact from broad assumptions," says Attala, "NorthCourse has invested substantial sums in researching the market and we're happy to share this information with those who have a genuine interest in the business. We'll not only explain how different shared ownership models are perceived by consumers, but also throw light on new real estate innovations such as Fractionals."
Research revealed 68% of Gulf nationals interested in purchasing timeshares or fractional ownerships. It's obvious from these numbers why so many are showing interest in attending the symposium. The organizers encourage those interested to register early, as only a limited number of spots are available.
