Vacation property owners will now be able to protect their investments with the help of CSA Travel Protection, an agency dedicated to providing value-driven travel insurances and emergency services. The company is introducing a new vacation ownership insurance that provides strong protection, including job loss that can lead to unused fees and travel costs.

The CSA ProtectME vacation ownership insurance policies protect vacation property owners from unused maintenance and exchange fees, as well as costs associated with travel accommodations, rental car damage, road side assistance, and more.

“Vacation ownership insurance is now more important than ever,” said Frank Shellabear, president of sales at CSA. “Travel delays and cancellations due to unforeseen economic and weather situations make planning trips today risky. Our goal is to remove that risk by protecting vacation owners’ maintenance and exchange fees, as well costs associated with additional arrangements.”

With the recession, insurance coverage should include involuntary termination of employment ore layoff. The CSA ProtectME plans protect workers who have been continually been with their employers for at least two years. Their job loss is covered by the program.

Many travel costs are protected as well. Additional arrangement benefits include pre-paid and non-refundable airfare to and from the property or pre-paid, non-refundable activities, like theater and hot air balloon rides.
