Massanutten Resort, a popular timeshare vacation destination, is in the process of expanding. The Rockingham County board of supervisors recently approved the company’s request to build more timeshare units in Virginia.
The initial blue print plans on constructing 27 buildings, each having 12 timeshare units. The approved construction plan will allow for as many as 76 lockout timeshare units.
“The continued modification of the facilities at Massanutten Village is of extreme importance to the entire county both from a tax basis, an employment basis, and the general welfare of the county’s basis,” said Attorney Clark on behalf of the timeshare company during an interview in WHS TV.
Vacation ownership and timeshares have been available in the Massanutten Resort since the 1970s.
