Timeshare owners will now benefit from a European Parliament decision to lower the cost of text messages and calls via mobile phones.

The parliament voted in favor of lowering the cost of a text message sent from abroad to the European Union (EU) by more than half the original cost. The per-minute rate of incoming calls from abroad were also lowered by €0.11.

Ofcom said that the decision will be great news for vacationers as the summer holidays are about to arrive. These consumers will want to save every penny they can.
