Many companies are capitalizing on the massive potential of timeshare ownership. It is a winning formula that has led to the creation of a 12-billion-dollar market in the United States (U.S.). This has inspired other hotel brands to adopt the concept.
Some of the biggest hotel names in Spain have adopted a hybrid business concept to sell their timeshare-based properties. These companies market their products to existing clientele and win new customers at a daily basis. As long as you like top class services, then you’ll more likely want a timeshare.
Currently, hotels—like most businesses—are feeling the effects of the recession. Consumers are now pickier when it comes to expenditures, because they want more value. The timeshare business model allows hotel companies to work through the recession.
Timeshare offers more savings and more value to the client. That’s why big Spanish hotels are adopting the concept. These hotels include: The Sol Meliá Vacation Club, The BlueBay Vacation Club, Barcelo Hotels & Resorts, and Club La Costa Resorts and Petchey Leisure.
While some of these hotels have been established in the country for decades, the timeshare venture is new to most of them.
