TATOC (the Timeshare Association) has announced that it will freeze membership fees for the year to remain at the same level as last year.
TATOC CEO Harry Taylor said that the board reached an agreement to help its member resorts with lesser fees. And with the recession at hand, this may very well be the best decision for its member resorts.
The association would’ve stood to gain if it decided to implement an increase, but the board decided that it would be counter-productive for the member resorts.
TATOC has 70 member resorts in the European region, providing more than 250,000 families with high-quality vacations. It is a non-profit making organization that has been around for nearly two decades. TATOC makes an effort to promote a positive image of timeshare and seeks to help member resorts with timeshare ownership particulars. It also serves as a platform for complaints against bad practice.
