Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, a renowned hotel and timeshare company, has been ranked among Newsweek Magazine’s top 100 “green” companies in America.
The magazine screed 500 of America’s largest publicly traded companies to determine the top 100. Wyndham Worldwide ranked number 81 after Newsweek evaluated its regulatory compliance, toxic waste emissions, greenhouse gas emissions, environmental issues and policies, as well as its use of natural resources.
“We are honored to be recognized by Newsweek as a national leader in sustainability,” said Stephen Holmes, CEO of Wyndham Worldwide. “We are committed to conserving our natural resources, preserving our habitats and preventing pollution. With more than 70,000 locations in 100 countries, we can make a tremendous impact in our communities around the globe.”
