Timeshare experts consider a social media approach |

Representatives of timeshare companies met last week in Orlando for ARDA’s (American Resort Development Association) Timeshare Social Media Symposium.
In the session titled “What’s the Big Deal?” timeshare company representatives discussed social media as a means to reach consumers. Speakers included Howard C. Nusbaum, Peter Yesawich, Sree Sreenivasan, Rob Tappan, and Weber Merritt.
Outside of the timeshare industry, more and more businesses are investing in social media to reach consumers in a more casual manner. It allows them to build relationships with consumers, making it a more personal approach to advertising. And it allows companies to find consumers easily instead of drawing them in.
