Vacation homes are expensive and if you aren’t careful, you can be conned by timeshare scammers.
According to the WOWT, timeshare scammers call their prospective buyers and convince them to pay an upfront $5,000 fee. The scammers also promise that the down payment will be returned upon sale.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB), has already warned consumers of timeshare scammers. The best way to avoid being conned is by researching about the company before investing. You can contact your local BBB to know more about a timeshare company.
