The Florida Attorney General’s Office has opened a case about Palm Beach County timeshare resale companies, investigating whether the companies collected advanced payment for contracted services that they did not deliver.
The implicated companies include Worldwide Resorts Inc. and TS Luxury Group. Both companies have yet to comment about the issue as of press time.
Attorney General Bill McCollum announced the statewide crackdown on timeshare resale industry malpractices last Thursday. Regulators have already issued subpoenas to 17 Florida-based timeshare companies.
