This week, the Cooperative Association of Resort Exchanges (CARE) will celebrate 25 years as an association, and it will be conducting 50 conferences in New Orleans. CARE is calling the event “The CARE Silver and Gold Conference.”

New Orleans was the site of the association’s first conference 50 years ago. The four-day event was designed to provide CARE members with information and tools to sustain success in the timeshare industry.

The event will begin at the Hilton New Orleans St. Charles on April 24, 2010, and it will run until April 27, 2010.

The keynote speaker will be Chris Widener, who will talk about the “Winning with Influence: The Real Way to Influence Others.”

CARE is a non-profit organization with several members in the US, Mexico, Canada. Australia, and Europe. It has over 2,500 vacation properties in its network, and its members serve more than a million travellers at a yearly basis.
