MyTimeshareAttorney.com today announced the launch of two new tools for timeshare owners.  For those new timeshare owners suffering from buyers remorse, the Rescission calculator provides the timeshare owners with the deadline to cancel their timeshare contract depending on the state they purchased in.

Founder and Attorney Susan Budowski wants new timeshare owners to review their paperwork immediately.  “If you are not happy with the purchase, knowing your rescission period will allow you to cancel your contract without having to involve an attorney”.

The second calculator made available today is for consumers who are either considering a timeshare purchase or for consumers who have already purchased.  The TSCO or Timeshare Cost of Ownership calculator tool allows consumers to put in the numbers from their situation and calculate the costs for the next 5, 10, 15 years.

Budowski wants consumers to have the real data outside the pressure of a timeshare sales presentation. “This tool allows the consumer to see how much the timeshare is really going to cost them.”

Many financial experts believe that saving for vacations provides a much more cost effective yield than paying upfront for vacations.  Timeshare owners routinely cannot utilize vacation years for a variety of reasons.  These owners do not get a refund, nor are they allowed to sell their weeks or points in the same manner the timeshare companies do for their own units. “Once you spend with a timeshare it is a total consumption”, says Budowski.
