The Disney Vacation Club (DVC), Disney’s timeshare division in Orlando, has issued a warning in its website for scammers that pose to be part of the company.

DVC specifically identified letters to clients which offered customers a Travel Passport Cash Giveaway. The company said that this is a fake offer and they also told customers that they may receive unsolicited calls from scammers who claim that they are part of DVC.

DVC instructed people to phone and report these fraudulent offers to the State Attorney General or the Federal Trade Commission.

These tactics try to pry personal information from DVC timeshare owners. These customers are advised not to share any personal or financial information to these scammers.
