RCI, the global timeshare exchange company, is aiming for 100 percent growth in the next five years.
In India, the company recently expanded its presence in Jammu, Kashmir, and other north-eastern states.
“In the next five years, we are targeting to double our timeshare business in India,” says Radhika Shastry, RCI’s Managing Director. “We are also very keen to foray into the north-east and states like Jammu and Kashmir and Madhya Pradesh.”
RCI, a brand owned by Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, is affiliated with more than 90 resorts across the country.
In a global scale, the company has more than three million members.
Despite the recession, the timeshare business has managed to persevere. Many analysts say this is because most owners have already paid payments in advance.
