The Florida Attorney General’s Office filed lawsuits last Tuesday against three timeshare resale companies, including Boca Raton, for alleged business malpractices. The lawsuits come as part of a state-wide ongoing crackdown on the timeshare scams.
Based on the court filings, Boca Raton unlawfully charged some new client’s credit cards before contracts were signed and misrepresented how easily clients can get refunds for upfront fees.
The two other companies were Timeshare Direct Inc. and Gold Crown Property Management Inc.
