Vacationers are being warned about unbelievable timeshare terms.
Timeshare deals are often marketed as a great holiday home and an investment in the resort itself.
However, regulators advise timeshare buyers should not sign anything until the contract has been reviewed by an expert.
Most often, the problem lies in legislation. Most countries do not cover timeshares in their laws.
This means that there are no formal institutions that protect the consumer in these types of deals.
