A business has been reported to the Resort Development Organization (RDO), because some consumers believe that it’s operating fraudulently.

According to sources, the company is contacting timeshare owners and pretending to be Travel and Leisure Group. The scammers then ask the owner for large portions of money in exchange for selling their property in a one-week time frame.

“The operation is based in a virtual office located in Luton with the contact number 0845 2996074,” said Jim Wilson (from the actual Travel and Leisure Group) about the scammers. “We have informed the authorities of the situation and urge any timeshare owner who is contacted by this company not to give their credit card details.”
