But, it’s important to note that timeshare schemes are based on different concepts, and some of them shouldn’t be associated with bad reputation.

Such is the case of fractional projects. These schemes offer buyers an actual share of an apartment or villa, which they can resell. For other timeshares, the payment is for rent only.

Some timeshare con artists bait buyers into purchasing timeshares, claiming that they can resell the property and make a profit.

These days, governments are being more proactive in regulating timeshare sales due to selling malpractices.
