A new web portal by the American Resort Development Association will be launched to help disseminate information regarding issues involving timeshare ownership. The new portal, called the ARDA-ROC, is one of three websites by ARDA which strive to inform individuals of anything there is to know about vacation membership and investment.

ARDA President and CEO Howard Nusbaum is excited about their new site, pointing out its role as a guide for current timeshare owners. Nusbaum says that timeshare owners who are experiencing financial difficulties will highly benefit from the new site. Its target audience is those who already own a timeshare and would like to keep up-to-date with local business news.

One such issue ringing across the timeshare industry is a law being proposed in Hawaii which would increase property timeshare taxes by as much as four times. Nausbum explains that the legislators don’t understand the consequences of such legislation, and that ARDA is looking to bring the matter to court.
