The start of the year proves to be one of the most challenging winter seasons in past decades. Americans who went out of their town in order to escape the cold weather can take solace in the fact that vacation has been found to have benefits for a person's quality of life.
Research work conducted by Applied Research Quality of Life found that a vacation begins at the very moment during which a person makes plans. Experts believe that simple planning of a vacation serves as a huge boost for a person's morale.
American Resort Development Association president and chief executive officer Howard Nusbaum encourages "everyone to take the time to think about—and plan—your next vacation," adding that "planning a tropical beach vacation or a week in the mountains will help to cure those winter blues many of us feel this time of year." Nusbaum explains that timeshare vacations are very ideal for families who are looking for quality amenities while feeling like they're at home.
