An acting chief constable is under wraps over suspicion of his involvement in the bankruptcy of a timeshare property worth at least 2 million pounds. 47-year-old Gordon Fraser was served a suspension order by Leicestershire Police back in December and is now being investigated in connection with the property crash.
Complaints of fraud and gross misconduct have been filed in Merseyside Police headquarters against Fraser along with two other anonymous West Midlands Police officers plus another member from the public. Both officers from West Midlands have been likewise suspended and are being investigated.
It wasn’t until Sunday when word got out that the cases filed against Fraser and his associates are connected to timeshare property deals in Florida. An anonymous source, whose identity has been kept for protection, reveals that “it appears money was borrowed from banks in the USA which bought timeshare properties in Florida about six or seven years ago. Officers and others were then invited to invest in the properties and use them as holiday homes.”
