A timeshare salesman has been acquitted of charges filed against him for allegedly harming a colleague using a champagne glass. The incident reportedly happened when the two men got into a heated argument during a drinking spree celebration.
Police reports state that investigating officers were unable to gather credible witnesses to provide testimonies against the suspect. The heated argument occurred back in October of 2007 at the La Palma Pub in St. Paul’s Bay. Peter Seed, accused of causing physical injury to colleague, James Hannah, was set free due to lack of evidence and testimony.
Meanwhile, the victim shares that his “memory flashes back at what I describe... it felt like a wet slap and then I turned and saw and focused on Peter Seed. He had a glass in his hand, it was a broken glass,” adding that Seed then “struck me again and I shielded myself by raising my right arm over my face. I was struck again and I also have stitches on this part of my body.”
