An offer to stay in a hotel for a lifetime and avail deals was extremely appealing to Sharon Tassini and her husband that they instantly gave up $5,000 to Outrigger Vacation Club in order to avail discounted memberships to join. The only problem is that apart from the money, the couple also surrendered the deed to an unwanted timeshare property in North Carolina which they owned.
The couple entered transaction with the club at the Only Way 2 Go Travel office back in 2009. Now, two years after giving up the deed to their property, the couple is yet to receive any of the hotel deals that they were promised. Tassini even discovered that there was no record of the $700 amount that she and her husband paid for the annual maintenance fee, nor property transfer documents.
The couple is reportedly one of the first few individuals to have been victimized by Only way 2 Go as well as its affiliate company, Fantasia Travel Group, in Methuen.
