The Economic Crimes arm of the Orlando Police Department raided nine timeshare companies earlier today.

The regulators hauled tons of office supplies and boxes of evidence. According to reports, the involved timeshare companies engaged in fraudulent business practices. Allegedly, the groups accepted money upfront to rent and sell the timeshare properties of their clients. Investigators believe that scammers victimized people within the boundaries of Orlando, as well as outside of them.

As of press time, no arrests have been made. But the police say that could change by Thursday.
