A British timeshare crook has been sentenced in Spain for scamming holidaymakers in a fraud worth around £9million.

Toni Muldon was one of ten defendants that were given two-year sentences by a judge in Malaga. Their punishments were suspended on the condition that they repay £438,000 during the two years.

Muldon’s wife, along with other members of the criminal group, did not show up for the hearing. Warrants have been issued for their arrest.

Muldon was one of six defendants to plead guilty to fraud. Four other individuals were charged with illicit association.
