Timeshare scams are growing in number. To avoid these scams, you should take several things into consideration:
• Be wary of unsolicited emails, phone calls, and unbelievable deals
• Remember to get all details of timeshare deals in writing
• Free vacations are probably too good to be true. These are usually ploys to obtain your credit card information.
• Double check the company with the Better Business Bureau before you pay any fees.
• Use your credit card. If you feel you’ve been swindled, inform the credit card company immediately.
These are just some of the things you should watch out for.
