Trying to get rid of your timeshare property? Then here are a few things you should consider:
• Find out whether you deeded your timeshare or leased it. Deeded property means that you are the exclusive owner, while leased property means that you only have the timeshare for a certain number of years. Depending on the contract, you can sell the property in different ways.
• Coordinate with your timeshare company. Some organizations can find interested buyers for your property. They may charge for these services, but it gets the process going quickly.
• Advertise! There are many platforms available, especially on the internet.
• Never pay for an upfront fee! Beware of scammers. Coordinate with government organizations to protect the sale of your property.
