The Clerk & Comptroller’s office of Palm Beach County has an issued a warning to residents against a growing timeshare scam in the United States.

The organization has warned citizens about timeshare resale deals that claim to be from Clerk Sharon Bock. She said that many people have already called them to discuss their stories.

“This is clearly an organized scheme,” said Bock. “It’s only getting bigger, which is why it’s urgent to spread the word about this fraud.”

Similar to other scams, the scammer asks timeshare owners to wire money to him in exchange for the sale their timeshare property. It has already scammed many people and the perpetrators are yet to be apprehended.
