Timeshare company accused of scamming owners PDF Print E-mail
Written by TSD Staff

Thirteen employees from Timeshare Mega Media and Marketing Group have been charged for a telemarketing scam targeted at timeshare owners.

The defendants allegedly contacted timeshare owners requesting for fictitious fees that are associated with the sale of their properties. However, no buyers existed. Once the fees were cleared, the scammers were never heard from again.

Similar to most timeshare scams, the company allegedly called owners to verify fees associated to the sale of their properties.

If convicted, these defendants would serve a maximum sentence of five years imprisonment and would pay a fee of around $250,000.
