Timeshare scammer in Boston PDF Print E-mail
Written by TSD Staff

In Boston, a company called Property Consultant Services is conning people in timeshare reselling.

The company contacts unsuspecting timeshare owners, offering to resell their timeshare for double its original price. But first, the owner needs to pay an advance fee of a thousand dollars.

The company then promises the owner that the fee will be held by an escrow company, Foreign Exchange & Trust.

Timeshare owners should not deal with these companies, because they’re con artists. In fact, before dealing with any resale company, an owner should double check its name with the Better Business Bureau.

At this economic state, the timeshare market is depressed. With constrained finances, timeshare owners are eager to unload their vacation properties, making them easy prey for scammers.

To avoid scams, deal with companies with skepticism. Generally: if a deal is too good to be true, it probably is.
