RCI Timeshare Exchange Webinar is Opportunity to Learn From the Pros
Written by Timeshares Daily Staff

Timeshare exchange is one of the biggest benefits of owning a timeshare, yet many people still don't understand how to make their exchange work. Join members from RCI as they explain the process.

Holiday Group is preparing for its seventh virtual seminar, and the first one of 2008. The free online seminar features vacation exchange company RCI, and will take place on Thursday, February 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. PST. Participation is open to the public.

Web seminars, popularly referred to as webinars, are a convenient alternative to traditional seminars, allowing people to participate via their computers from home or work. Attendees see and hear the live seminar, and can even interact with questions or comments of their own.

Holiday's Director of Sales, Gail Bennett, will host the webinar. "Our upcoming webinar with RCI is one of our most exciting to date. So many timeshare owners buy a timeshare for the sole purpose of exchanging. RCI, being the premiere vacation exchange company out there with over 3700 resorts in more than 90 countries, is often the exchange company for many timeshare owners."

One of the most important advantages of owning a timeshare, as opposed to hotel rentals, is timeshare exchange. According to RCI, 80 percent of timeshare owners list the option of exchanging into vacation resorts around the world as a primary benefit of vacation ownership. But it's also a benefit that comes with many questions from consumers who may still not be sure how to get the most from their exchanges.

Nancy Dillon and Ken Abernathy of Group RCI will be the co-hosts. Webinar topics include:
-- Optimizing RCI Weeks and Points exchanges.
-- Fulfilling exchange requests.
-- Geting the most out of your RCI Spacebank deposit.
-- Tips for making a successful exchange.
-- The difference between or the benefits of RCI Points and RCI Weeks.

"Many families who own or are thinking about owning are not sure how to maximize the RCI exchange program," Bennett said. "Because of this, we're finding it very helpful to offer consumers as much information on exchanging as possible, and the best way to do this is to allow them to interact with professionals from the timeshare industry. Knowledge is power, but applied knowledge makes for a happy timeshare owner."

Holiday's ARDA (American Resort Development Association)award-nominated webinars offer real-world knowledge about timesharing in a no-pressure, consumer-friendly environment. The RCI webinar will last about 30 minutes and be followed by a question and answer session.

"Our webinars are just one of the many great services that Holiday offers our customers," Bennett noted. "We want to be a resource for folks who own timeshare or are thinking about ownership and need an unbiased source of information."
